Our history
Maranatha Christian Assembly was started by Rev Peter Tay in 1976. He served for 10 years.

On 1 March 1986, Pastor David Lee was appointed the next Senior Pastor.
​The church started with humble beginnings with a small congregation and little in the bank, but God is our provider. Our church moved through many locations from 263A Upper Thomson, Jasmine, Imperial Theatre, Trinity Theological College, YMCA, Holiday Inn Park View Ballroom, Hotel Grand Central, 292A Upper Thomson and finally we purchased our own unit at LHK2 Building at Playfair Road in 2001. The church has also grown from strength to strength and now own 2 units at LHK2 with a vibrant congregation.

On 31st July 2022, Rev Dr David Lee passed on the Senior Pastor position to Rev Dr Alvin Lim after leading Maranatha for 36 years.

We can only thank God for His faithfulness, steadfast love and divine providence that has brought us thus far. To God be the glory!
